Not sure if its the gun, or the cheap plastic Snap Caps, but the bright orange Snap Caps suck.
Tonight I fed one into a Cooey 82. One dry fire, and went to extract the cap, only to find that the impact of the firing pin had seperated the "rim" from the rest of the round, and the "case" was frimly lodged into the breech.
Sadly, the only way to get it out was to use a cleaning rod from the muzzle end. As best I can see, the rifling is still all good.
I didn't bother to see if it was the fault of the gun, or the snap caps, but I'm not willing to try in in any of my other .22's.
I guess I should have known better since they aren't re-usable like the centrefire ones, and feel as cheap than a Glad bag.
Conclusion: Plastic sucks.
I'll stick to using rounds with the bullet/power removed, or old casings. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone!
