Haven't shot any yet, just arrived a few minutes ago.
My one complaint is the packaging for shipping, thin cardboard and some plastic wrap is usually a death sentence for anything mailed to me. Luckily everything arrived intact, and hopefully I'll get to try the .30carbine ammo this weekend. The .223 will probably be a while before I get to try them.

Let me knpw how the .30cal carbine ammo works out..... I have a Ruger SA in .30cal and have had some problems with some brands of ammo (they expand just enough to jam the empty cartridge after firing)....
Thanks.

First line on my shipping tracker thing:
18/11/2013 1:05 PM TORONTO, ON M2N5M9, CA In FedEx possession

One detail about their packaging I noticed is that they put cut up Canpar shipping labels over the words "ammo".

I personally don't care if anyone knows it's ammo (I ship to my workplace) put a nice little touch for those who are concerned about it.

Get a chance to shoot the .223, yet?

I only shot about 20rds, one was a dud. Who knows if it's 1 in 20, or I got unlucky early and it's 1 in 1000.
Seemed to group OK through a savage axis. 3 groups(all groups were 3 shots) were under 1" - 2" from one box, 2 groups from the second box were closer to 3"
I didn't have a very steady setup, and the shooter isn't the best.

The primers are probably a little to hard for the axis is all. Did it go off on the second try?

I thought the same thing, still it didn't fire the second time either. With the time of the year it is, I'm not going to be shooting any more of it unless I see a coyote.
When compared to the winchester white box, the 45gr JHP bulk stuff, the bullets on the tula ammo seem to be more uniform... better made. But I don't have enough to start pulling bullets and doing any detail look.

I'd really like to try the 75gr HP stuff they're supposed to have.
