Got my new sks this weekend but she is COVERED in grease, how do i get it all off?

If you look at the "stickied" threads at the top of this subforum, you will see one called "SKS cosmoline removal". Read that. While you're at it, read the other stickied threads for a ton of info.

Enjoy your SKS but i warn you they are very addicting and you will buy more...

Make sure you totally disassemble her and last but not least take the bolt apart and clean the firing pin and channel. You don't want any nasty surprises on the first trip to the range,i.e( slamfire). Have fun and like they told ya, its hard to stop at one.
