You pay to ship it there, they cover the shipping back to you after the repairs are completed.
I thought that was pretty standard for warranty work
A return merchandise authorization (RMA), return authorization (RA) or return goods authorization (RGA) is a part of the process of returning a product in order to receive a refund, replacement, or repair during the product's warranty period. The purchaser of the product must contact the manufacturer (or distributor or retailer) to obtain authorization to return the product. The resulting RMA or RGA number must be displayed on or included in the returned product's packaging;[1] no returns are accepted without this number.
I've always received an RMA shipping label for any defective/broken during warranty items i've purchased before (Albeit, never had to for a firearm - yet) Pretty standard stuff for things that have warranty.

Edit: I do recall one time sending something back for warranty and having to pay shipping until it was determined that it was NOT a user made error - then the shipping cost was refunded.
Savage pays both ways so do CanadaAmmo when honoring warranty on Norinco stuff
North Sylva pays shipping back to you. you have to pay to get it to them unfortunately. I used UPS it was $50.
And they didn't even find the problem on mine...
From what I found NS just keeps it for a while then sends it back. I sent in a pistol cleaned and arranged in such a way and got it back unopened and told they fixed the problem. Nope you didn't even look at it!
Thanks NS. Will never buy a product they warranty.
What's the warranty on these things anyways?
Bought mine a couple months ago and haven't had a chance to fire it yet.
For us GTA people, can't we just bring it in in-person for warranty work?
VZ 58 rifles have a 5 year warranty from date of purchase.
That sums it up nicely. Mine was with them for about three months. No repair, not even test fired.cuz otherwise how can they miss the oblivious defect. From what I found NS just keeps it for a while then sends it back.
