ive decided to paint my rifle , it has a wood stock which im gonna use ct truck bed liner for the textured look, topped with krylon cammo olive , now my question is what about the receiver and barell it has good blueing it is a single shot so it doesnt get to hot what is the best paint to cover it with i was thinking of the bed liner not sure about the texturing effect on the metal tho,?? could i put several coats of flat black to smoothen things out ,,, any sugestions would be apreciated,,,

Try either high heat manifold or bbq paint. It holds up pretty well and is easy to touch up.

I used high heat manifold paint for small metal parts of my lee enfield no4..work great but make sure to put in the oven for 2 hours to make the paint harder !

thanks for the ideas guys unfortunatly my barel and receiver wont fit in my oven to harden the paint ,lol will try the manifold paint any how ,,,,

NO NO, go for Arma-Coat, don't need to bake, harder than anything, dozen done, only good comments...
