Pal and Rpal safety courses

I used York Region Firearms Academy (ww w.yrfirearms.com)

Not technically in Toronto. :p

They are in Richmond Hill in the Yonge and Major Mackenzie area.

Very good instructors, and they give you plenty of time to handle the firearms before the tests.

Some here have also used Firearms Academy Canada (ww w.guns.to) and have good thigs to say about them. I think they run out of a hotel in the Wilson and Jane area, and they may still be using a second location along Lakeshore Blvd.

+1 for york firearms academy!

I did the course once before with a local instructor and actually learnt nothing.. instructor was so lazy and really put no effort into teaching.. I then took the course again with york firearms academy.. very good guys!

If you do go with York firearms academy, I'd watch out for their single action semi.. cut me all over my fingers!

Just finsihed the non-restricted part at Silverdale today. Great place to take it very fast and quick and really walk you through everything you need to know for the tests. Looking forward to taking the restricted class tomarrow morning

I just finished day 1/2 of the Wellesley Consulting safety course. Really fun guys, and they make it really enjoyable. Got to practice loading/unloading/PROVE on all the various actions (including a WWII Colt 1911 and a Lee Enfield Mk4). They host it in a hotel in Mississauga at 401/Hurontario.

Added: They only do PAL/RPAL combo.
