PAL Application Photo

I completed the CFSC this weekend. As I was leaving I was told to pick up an application and envelope. When I got home I filled it out and it says that there should have been a "photo insert" with a "sticker" to put on the back of your photo? I received none of this? Does anyone have the info of how this is done? Can I simply sign a photograph?

It's on the bottom of page 3 of the application form. Have your guarantor fill out that square box and glue it to the back of your picture.

not sure where you located but if you have a Black's photography in your area they can do Firearms photos. They are pretty much the same size as passport photos but make sure you tell them to adhere to the dimensions that are marked on the application form. Blacks is good as well because they give you a second copy of the picture just in case the CFC loses your application for any reason.

Just get a guarantor or your spouse/wife to sign the sticker and put make sure to put your name on it and your good to go.

I put it on my application with a paperclip so it couldn't get lost either

Any modern home PC printer will take photo paper. Grab the digital camera, find a blank wall for a background, read the application's requirements and start snapping. After you're happy, you'll have spare wallet photos to give out to the loved ones.

ya I figured i was missing something....im gonna try calling the firearms center and see if they can't send me one.

I downloaded and printed form CAFC 921 off of the RCMP firearms site.

I cut out the photo thingy and glued it to the back of the photo.

Filled everything out and 29 days later my PAL was approved and is now on route.
