PAL application references question

The application requires two references, anyone who has known you for at least three years, who's 18 yo and is not your conjugal partner.
Does this mean I can use my two adult sons as references?

I used my mother and brother for my two references, I don't live with either of them, and it wasn't an issue. Don't think the guidelines mention anything about being related to the references.

Thanks guys, I asked my instructor and he said as long as it's not your spouse, any family member over 18 is OK.
That solves that.

Yes, my adult Children were my references. All good!
