I just noticed that for those needing to renew their PALs in '09 the renewal fee has been waived till May 16 '09.
Check the CFC page:http://www.cfc-cafc.gc.ca/factsheets/renew-renouv_e.asp
and scroll down to "fees"
download the forms and do it!
