Hypothetically speaking your applying for your rpal and just recently found out one of your roomates has a criminal record.
Would you disclose this is your interview?

Is it even asked?

Well its a hypothetical, and people make mistakes.
lets say such as a DUI charge, or maybe they got in a fight a few years ago and have an assault charge.

The only thing they ask is "is anyone in your household prohibited from owning firearms". So if they are, then yes you have to tell them, but if they have a crimincal record but aren't prohibited from owning firearms then no i dont think you need to tell them that.

I was not asked that question.

If they are prohibited from owning a gun call the rcmp and ask them what to do.

When you call the rcmp to ask, you do not need to tell them your name or where you live, you are just asking a question. They are nice, they won't track you down, they'll just answer your question.

Be honest and find out from the horses mouth.

Good luck.

It shouldn't be a part of the interview. As well, when you fill out your application- you put your address, correct? Don't forget that they'd do a check to make sure that the address is legit, and when it comes up that its an apartment building/shared concept building, they may or may not want to investigate further.
