Pal to rpal number question

Can anybody tell me if my pal number will change when it is upgraded to a rpal, or will it stay the same with the restricted classification on it.

and of course possetion/acquisition=non-res and res.

I believe each time you renew it, the last number goes up by one. Mine is .0003
