This may be a dumb question. I recently upgraded my PAL to my RPAL. I haven't received the new card yet. My question is. Will my RPAL # on my new card be different then the number on my PAL. and are the cards different. Basically asking if I can buy a restricted or have to wait for the new card.

In my experience, overall, the new RPAL is same and has a (restricted) added at the back of the licence under possession/acquisition. The first part of the number is the same followed by .0002/3/4? I upgraded 2x, the ending #'s are .0003 going up everytime I upgraded. I waited until I had the new card in my hand before buying a new restricted.
