So I see on my Visa that they have charged me for my PAL which is 60$. I have not recieved my PAL though and I want it soon. Any tips on how I can get it faster?

you can sit down and think of all the cool guns your gonna get. It's government bureaucracy there is now way to speed it up.

Ok thanks guys. I went to the website and it says it has been issued but it has not arrived yet. Hopefully it comes soon!
Wouldn't that have adverse effect? I mean, if you call them a lot, they're gonna get suspicious; hunting season's pretty much over and there's no reason an ordinary liberal yuppie would see for someone to require firearms in a "speedy" way. And unfortunately, those ordinary liberal yuppies seem to be in charge of the whole shebang!
I called them once just to verify if they received my application (like 2 weeks after mailing it in), as their website seems to get updated once every iceage.
That being said, I am waiting for my RPAL still, and it's been saying that it's in the mail for 2 weeks now!
Apparently CanadaPost works as fast as the CFC... Or maybe CFC's just using some special "ultimate econo-letter delivery service" (for 0.05$) and the sled dogs haven't made it yet to my location...

I think they nail ya with the hefty fee only when it's your first one, Mr. Patrickshot must be very young.

Yup, only 20 years old. I am getting my minors lisence turned into a PAL. I want it to come here soon so I can send away the money for my Remmington 870.
It won't be long now, in that case. I went thru this a year ago with my PAL and then a couple months ago with my RPAL. In both cases once the website said it had been issued I had it within a week. I'm betting you'll have yours by Christmas.
