I am leaving on the 25th next month for South Africa and the Pan African Championships. It is being held near Johanesburgh at the Sterkontein Shooting Grounds:

68 Laporte automatic machines is neat as the shoot two years ago at Hippo Creek, had home made machines that broke more targets than the ones thrown!
As two years ago, we are going to a bird shoot on the Monday. Pigeons, Rock Pigeons and doves over a 1 K by 8 K maize field. Since we will be at altitude (6000ft), one can take 70 plus shots at the birds. George Digweed would not shoot a bird under those distances. The birds fly from all directions, much better then Argentina!
BTW, all birds shot are picked up by the local community.
I will post pictures in my website once there, if the internet works! It is Africa!
