Stupid question but I just got my PAL in the mail. It came with a piece of paper that said "Carry this document with your lic. card as you must be able to produce this document on demand if requested by a peace officer or other authority" Why do I need a paper copy if I have the plastic one? Or is this just our government wasting time. If I put this in my wallet I'm sure it will last about 6 months before it falls apart....

cool. Under special conditions that's all that was listed. Carry it with your lic. I'm going to take the advice and pack it with my copy of safe storage and transport. Thanks guys.

He will have his RPAL or should have so..
I couldn't squeeze the course in so I did my PAL first. I have my hunting lic. booked for March. Now I just need to find a day to do the RPAL. My wife and I work long and crazy hours while joggling 2 kids. I don't have a need for the RPAL yet but I still feel I need to do it asap. Thanks for all the help guys.

It says CARRY IT thems the rules like it or not !!!!!!!!!!!!! like SILVERFOX says carry copies of everything in your range bags.

And if you check with other resources, including the same issue posted on these boards, if it's a PAL with no conditions, you don't need it on your person.

There was another thread on here where an LEO indicated as much.

Mine turned into a paper ball so now what?

I've had 1 cfo tell me I had to have it another said only if you have conditions like have to be home at a certain time and that comes down to if you have a minor license or not.
