Paper targets

The one I posted are from accurate shooter web site. A lots of guy just use a stick on dot or even just make a dot with a marker on a cardboard box. And those are ELR guys.

Dot size does not matter on the target I posted..what matter are the scope alignment vertical and horizontal. So no they don’t make group bigger. Only the shooter can do that :) on top of, in load development - aiming point matter - crossair alignment - not the point of impact that vary with powder charge or whatever a guy test.

When you see all crappy targets showing at the range, all those are 500% better.
I use this one in blue. Can be seen a lot better on crappy overcast or rainy days. Picture is crappy but if someone want a .pdf , just ask. And you don’t shoot the triangle - aiming at it only- you adjust scope a few click up so the round impact in the round circle or above.
Those were made originally by Sinclair for Benchrest gun load development.

I really like this style of target. My POA is never the same as my POI...some of my buds say...jeez...you missed the bullseye by 2 inches...lol

When I find something I like, I plan to take it to Staples and get a whack load printed out.

Max, Printing at Staples will cost you a SHIP-load. Don't you have a printer? Lasers print way cheaper than Inkjets, but machines cost more. My Brother inkjet costs ca $125 for a set of color plus Black, but I can get a few thou prints. Usually one set per year.
As for targets, I find literally 'hundreds' are online if you look around. When I print some I use 'spray-on adhesive' (ca $10) to stick them onto cardboard like pizza boxes OR 'boxboard' like cereal boxes. ALSO as another couple folks have said, I use posterboard from Dollarama (2/$1.25+tx around here) and draw silihouettes OR put Dollarama sticky dots (300+ for $1.25) that are 3/4".
Here's my Deer on 2x3 ft posterboard -> (they're sorta small around here  )

My thought on "Dots vs Crosshair" targets - When I shoot my 22lr at 50 or 100 I do find that the groups get smaller if I'm shooting at a ' + ' point instead of a 'dot'. Like they say, "Aim Small, Hit Small" . I use the 'dots' for practice to work on my hold and such. My 457-VMTR has about a 8-oz trigger so I just pinch instead of 'pull'. And I have the A-419 rail with bubble - I find making sure it's level does change POI by a few thou, too.

My favorite paper commercially available target is:
Champion 47387 Sight-in Targets

It is currently in stock on amazon Canada in the 100 quantity pack, at $30 and eligible for free shipping. Get it while you can. I left one pack for you guys and bought the rest myself. It was out of stock last Fall.

For longer ranges I use the divider cardboard from between the cases of clay targets from the trap club, the are 4' x 4' and work great, I always save them and have a stack of about 20 in the shed, usually just spray paint a 6" red circle in the center and away you go.

I just go to Staples and buy a flip chart pad of graph paper,, about 24"× 36", and get a roll of circle stickers from Amazon, and Bob's your uncle. I put 8 1 inch stickers on a sheet for 100 yards, 2" stickers for 200 yards, etc. The graph paper has lines every inch, so moa is easy. They cost almost nothing, and the stickers come in lots of colors. Workers for me...
