I have a chance to buy a Marlin Papoose,don't know anything about these and no one tha owns one. It's in real good shape, comes with soft case. What are these things worth, not like I really need it but think I can get it real cheap as the gentleman wants to downsize and hasn't used it in years.

$150-$250, depending on condition. If it's in good shape, and has the original carry case, I would lean toward the higher end of that range. Not particularly collectible just yet, just a good solid everyman's takedown.

shoot it first, you might be more accurate with a bag of rocks at 15 yards, it all boils down to what you want out of it rather then what you can squeeze out of it.......
DU might add a bit to the value, all depends on the buyer, to me it is still just a gun, even when jessy james puts his name on it................
