PAR replacement barrels.

I am helping a friend who is new to firearms pick a pump action rifle (Troy, Taipan, or Crusader Arms are our current considerations).

Are any of these offerings compatible with AR15 barrels and handguards, or are each of them proprietary? I realize they don’t need a gas port, that can be sealed easily enough.

Edit: I found the thread on ATRS modifications of the PAR. Anyone know if the other two work in the same way, or if the pump is separate of the handguard?

Check out Victory Ridge Maverick and Renegade rifles. They are designed to repurpose AR-10 and AR-15 rifle parts.

The Troy has the side of the handguard cut out to allow the pump to slide wouldn't work with other handguards. They are hard to find at the moment, some 308's around but no 223.

The Renegade receiver can be bought and built up with different handguards and barrels.
