So ive got this debate up in my head i like all these handguns ive yet to shoot the hk45 i wanna hear what you guys would pick and why and maybe if someone can shed some price diffrences between them or if there are any problems that im not aware of. Let me know what u would pick :p

I owned an FNX-45 and while it shot fairly well, it felt cheap and I had the extractor fail twice on me. I sold it after repairing it and haven't felt any regret. Para I have no experience, but I have owned an HkP30L which is essentially a 9mm Hk45 and shot exceptionally well. Out of all the choices I would get the Hk45.

I doesnt say but the FNX Tac 45 is totally a new concept from the old FNX-45, for me it's my best 45 after my 1911's, my HK45 CT with Lem is among the best to... JP.

I am a good acquaintance with an operator that serves various full-time duties in the Middle East (he is American). He was telling me that almost without exception, he and all his "associates" carry two sidearms: FNX-45 Tactical and an FN Five-seveN. The Five-seveN has an optional 30-round magazine always loaded with "black tip" (AP) cartridges but his go-to sidearm in a crisis situation is the FNX-45. He also told me that they are using 15-round mags for the FNX loaded with Hornady Critical Duty ammo.

He said that there is only one choice in in a .45 ACP sidearm - the FNX-45 Tac. The next time I chat with him, I will ask him to justify that statement...

As for me, I can't afford one :(

I have a Para SSP 1911 and it's been great for me so far. I used to own an HK USP Tactical in 45 but it exploded (not the guns fault). Never played with an FNX but have been interested in them. As far as I'm concerned it's all personal preference based on which one feels best in your hands. The only thing I'm not happy about with my Para is that from what I've heard there is no warranty on them in Canada since they have no Canadian service center. You can have any smith experienced with 1911's do whatever you need though unless you end up with a cracked frame or something that should be covered under warranty.

Hold them and pick the one that feels the best to you :)
