Yeah that matched barrel is a big pull towards it. How hard was it to change to 70 series trigger? This one would be 700 all in.
The 80 series does not have the double sear if the hammer get banged or dropped the gun will or could discharge the 80 series uses a firing pin block which you remove in the conversion . I myself would not take the chance . As to the other post my Para Match grade barrels are shooters and on par with any STI , Nowlin , Clark, Wilson barrel I have . The frames and slide are cast but they seem to be holding up with high round counts the holes are all in the right place . IMHO^^ Why would you need to swap the sear and hammer?

I'm also willing to bet you would have the same accuracy with a Sam,norc or seraphim unless you do all your shooting from a ransom.
I have built a dozen or so Norc's and Sam's The frame and slides make great builds the barrels are useable but marginal at best they fit but are rough and don't stand up to a high round count . The Para barrels are tough fit well and stand up. I have cut a lot of chambers the only time I used a Sam barrel was on a 6inch long slide the chamber was rough as heck but it shot well . what do you call accurate ? with a two hand hold I want to eat the 10 ring at 20yds and get 2 to 3 inchs at 50 you wont get that out of a Norc barrel All I am saying is a Para Expert is a good buy and on a par if not better than any Sam or Norc. My two cents but that's not worth much nowdays .
