I just got my para 45auto in the mail, I like the feel of it in my hands it fits perfect.I headed to the range Friday ,took 100 shoots with no problems at all I used fmj's and hollow points and they feed no troubles. It seems to shoot not to bad although the sights are a fixed ordeal and only can adjust for windage. So after i pounded the rear sight over to shoot in line it is shooting about 12 inches low, so i have been using the base of the front sight and not shootiing near as tight groups as my 460S&W .Granted the sights are very poor which i will be changeing asap.I realize they made these rear sights so they were like the military model to slip in and out of holsters, but why not make the rear sight tall enough to shoot straight.

Anyhow functionally it is flawless with a nice clean trigger the recoil is a lil more then i expected from a lil wee 45 but prolly more the action moving things then it is the recoil. And soon as you shoot it you want to reload and do it again (i think i get that from every gun) with a few mods i think this could be a great lil target pistol time will tell as my para ssp is in the mail and should be in real soon.At least they have a nice sight on em for the expert the next site i go to will be brownells.

I have a Para GI too. Nice 1911, although I prefer more of a plain 1911. Likely going to change the MSH on it though. I cannot get into the plastic MSH. That will only be about $30 and 5 mins or less to install.

For $699 , it's damn good. Bought mine from Armco, the trigger is really smooth, light and crisp.
