Does anyone know if there is such a thing as an ALL METAL para mag available?

I find the little plastic nibs break off after the mag hits the gravel a couple of times. I don't want extra heavy mag bases in case I choose to shoot IDPA some day...Just regular old mags with metal bases would be fine.

MecGar makes good all metal mags. However, they only make 15 rounders - you'll need someone in the states to pin them for you before they head up here.

10 round non-para mags availability is VERY limited. ProMag (barf) makes some, but you'd be better off feeding them one by one into the chamber. :)

Beware the Mecgars, they do not seat with the plastic Para basepads. I have five sitting in a bag if you want them, the metal base pads they come with are crap and are no good for IPSC.

Get ahold of Target-sports.com, they sold me aluminum base pads that replaced the plastic from my 5 Para P16 40 mags. I needed these to clear my mag well from Dawson Precision. Excellent quality all aluminum bases that were very simple to install. They will even ship them out for ya. I've got 5 Para plastic bases if your intersted...pm me
