Hi Everyone,

I was hoping that someone can point me in the right direction on finding Para Ordnance parts. My extractor claw broke and was wondering if anyone knows where I can get one. On the parts diagram I am looking for part# 8A - Extractor Claw. I have checked a few places like Brownell's etc. They do not sell that type of extractor and not sure who else would sell parts.

Thanks for help.

Contact our customer service department, we should be able to help you out. PARA is no longer in production, but we do still have parts. csr@gravelagency.com

Hmmm, could you not put a standard 1911 extractor in it? I never even realized that Para's had an extractor that is in parts.

I never did check to see if a standard 1911 extractor would work for that model and I didn't it was that type of extractor part until I took the part out of the slide. Not sure what their method of madness behind it.

I can assure you that I have a regular 1911 extractor in my P16.40. I don't have the Canadian Forces model, but there should not be any difference in the top end.
