This month's American Rifleman mag. gave a very favorable review on this NRA fundraising gun. Canadian made and a little pricey but overall very high quality. I looked at their site and can't find Canadian dealers, are they available here? Has any one here bought one? Hoow is it? Thanx.

ARMco & Phoenix, also...

Let's see. American Rifleman is published by the NRA. Para Ordnance sponsors NRA's fundraising campaigns (and probably advertises in the American Rifleman). Can you really expect anything but a glowing review?

In general, magazine reviews are extremely unreliable sources for those seeking impartial and objective information.

Some people seem to have a bias against them but I'm totally happy with the product and service i received from Para. I have a 1640 with the power extractor and totally love it. I broke the ejector (my fault) but they (the manufaturer) replaced and installed it for free. They have lifetime warantee program for the original purchaser.(details are on their website)

Well capp you seem to have a keen grasp on the obvious, that's probably why I posted this question here and elsewhere.
