What is the difference between the 13, 14 and 16 and any others I may have missed?

What is so good about Para pistols? especially the P13? Good? Bad? Blah?

Any help would be appreciated.

-P13 has a commanders length slide, 4.25" barrel length with an officers frame and 13 round capacity in 45 acp.
-P14 has the goverment length slide, 5" barrel length with a goverment frame and 14 round capacity in 45 acp.

Both are double stacked.

I have one of each in the limited variety and I'm very happy with both of them. They shoot well no malfunction and nice fit and finish. Only compaint would be that some cast parts are not of high quality (beavertail, safety, slide release) but I don't mind the plastic trigger or mag release. You get lots of value for the money, ramped Match barrel, nice sights and many bells and whistles.

I would buy again, looking at the nite tac in double action.

If you have the choice, I'd go for the 14.45, when on my BB course, the guy aside me was shooting a 13.45 and i was shooting a 14.45, he had a really hard time keeping the bullets on target at longer ranges, and so did I when we switched guns just to try. Those 3/4" really seemed to make the difference.

I've found my para pistol better whan any other 1911 I've owned. And it seems to be way more reliable than many high-end pistols (STIs are the best example I can find)
