I would like to replace the mainspring housing on my P13 (plastic) for something metal (flat, stainless or aluminum) but am unsure of what to order. Some tell me that I just need a 1911 Officers length housing but I noticed that one manufacturer (Smith & Alexander) list different part numbers for a P13 and the Officers. Does anyone know for sure if a regular Officers part will fit?
