Para SF-45-A

While I was on tour I ordered a Para Ord SF-45-A through the military appriciation program back in Sept 2010 and received a confirmation letter... I had totally forgotten about it and found my electronic order form in one of my files.

I e-mailed Para and within 3 weeks it was registered through North Sylva and delivered. I would like to thank all those who help hasten this process. When I get back from Afghanistan again, I will take her to the range and test it out.

I have a single-stack .45 from the 2009 appreciation of service special. A lot of people (and I do mean a LOT) were having problems with theirs. I didn't have any problems, even during the break-in period as per the gun's manual so I'm pretty sure it's code 18s all over the place.

A problem I did have however is my front sight being the incorrect height and the pistol shooting 15 inches below at 15 meters... Most people have been shipped pistols with the incorrect front sights. Make sure you check yours. Para will not fix this issue because according to them, "it shoots within our specs". Bulls**t.

All I have to say with their customer service and their recent QC downfalls since the company got bought out and moved to the states is that they can go f**k themselves.
