Para vs Kimber for a full size .45

exstractor problems in a Para, use a exstended ejector and a good after market exstractor, they need a bend put in them to set up good tension, they need pushing in and help to get them out for cleaning, BUT they work for ever, I year before I change them in my annual overhaul, I chang recoil and firing pin if the shrink at all and shock buffs as needed, cheap insurance. Mag. springs get checked and stretched every cleaning,

Nothing but stock with less than 500 roounds through it.

dogfish, I assume you are talking about the old style extractor. The new Power Extractor would not have a tension problem as it works with a coil spring. If it were to become weak you would replace the coil spring.

Stay Safe

go for kimber for quality wise, the Fit bbl/ slide is very much better, with regards to accuracy, it depends on how you define an accurate gun, if your looking 2inch grp at 25, then forget Para.
