You have been given some good advice here that has answered your original query and also a little CGN coaching. To recap, don't fret over the parallax of your scope concentrate on consistency when shooting and good range estimation. The most distant moose I have taken was in the 400yd range out of a canoe. I remember just trying to keep the cross hairs above the vicinity of the front quarters. Hit it twice and it did not go that far. My 30-06 is sighted in 2"high at 100yds which for moose unless your trying to take out his left eye means I can hold right on with my reloads and be hitting vitals out to about 250+ yds. In the 43 yrs I have been hunting moose not once has the parallax of my scope come into question.
There are a lot of very good and knowledgeable folks on CGN. It is also very easy to say things on a open forum that one would not say to a persons face due to the anonymity in place. So you have to be a bit thick skinned and not take some of these folks seriously at times. You will get to know who is who at the zoo after a while. Hopes this helps you out a bit.
