Has anyone had any experience with or have any knowledge of how to stop the main spring from being jammed into the bolt on firing. The spring is partially pushed through the face of the bolt and of course gets damaged. f:P: Is this an issue of the ejector ears on the clips being bent up by age and use and interfering with spring on firing? The pistol will not fire after the jam so this is not a safety issue; it is a major frustration and financial issue.

Any knowledge on this would be greatly appreciated.

Westernmarksman.ca has parts and John should be able to help cure your problem. But if your gun is one of the original run of Pardini-Fiocchi I hope it has a GOOD frame casting, the one I had in the early 90s had a very large void directly over the breech and went back to the factory, another of that vintage broke in half at the breech during a match at the World Masters Games in 2005. Take care and watch out for wear on the mag catch.

Thanks for the advise. Westernmarksman.ca has sent a new spring (very quickly too) and on looking at the bolt with the magazine in place I can see that the ejector ears are interfering into the spring opening. Time for some adjusting.
Have found no voids in the casting. This may be a later unit.
