Hi guys,

I am thinking about saving money to get a high end 9mm. These 2 pistols come to mind. Which one should I save my $ for?
Any experience with them?

Thanks

Gilbert

Full disclosure, I'm selling a GT9 on EE now.

I have / have had both. Both great but for different reasons.

The Pardini is the pure shooter. One of the best triggers you can get on a centerfire handgun. It has a fuller more angled grip than the 210.

The Swiss 210 is the classic collector and an homage to craftsmanship of a bygone era.

The new German P210 legends are also very nice. I've had all 3 variants (Legend, Legend Target, and Super Target). I've only kept the Super Target as it was the one I shoot the best and it is the rarest, but they were all well built and nicely finished.

Check out these links. These guys have had lots of experience with both.

Go with classic P210/P49 and you won't regret.

I own a Pardini GT 6 in 9mm and I have shot a P210 Target in 9mm. In my view both are excellent handguns. Depending on hand size, assuming size large or larger, I would give the edge to the Pardini. The accuracy is simply amazing, the trigger is the best there is and the slide is like oil on ice smooth. All controls are superbly located and work flawlessly. The only downside is the double stack magazine makes it difficult for smaller hand. The P210 is also superb but the controls are not as well located or as functional, it is not quite as easy to shoot well (but really splitting hairs here). The 210 is more expensive by a significant margin but they have a higher cool factor. When I was buying mine I seriously considered the P210 Target but in the end I truly believed that the Pardini was a marginally better gun for a significantly lower price and I have not regretted my decision at all and I really like classic old guns. They will have to pry my Pardini from my dead lifeless fingers.

I own a Pardini and I would tell you go with a 210. Love my pardini gt40 but good lord the gun is a ####ing finicky beast.

I have a few flavors of P210 and had a Pardini. Trigger was excellent but the ergos just didn't work for me.
