Parker Hale 30/06 price

depending on condition they can go any where from 250 to 800. i bought one after deer season in 270win and payed 250 for it mind you it was in fair condition.

I paid 375 shipped for the one I have, about 2 years ago. It had a rotten recoil pad which has since been replaced. It was in good to vg condition. Came with P/H rings/bases, no scope, rear iron sight missing, front site intact.

If I was buying, I'd think $300 was a very good price. If I was selling, I'd start off asking more than that, because you can always come down if it doesn't sell soon enough.

$400-450 seems to be close here in AB. I have a 1200 in 300win with 2 clips (mags) for $450 and just had a sale fall through. $300 will move fast. $450 is prob top end IMHO for a 30-06.

Even with a "throwaway" scope, you'd be hard pressed to find any decent used bolt action in a common/desireable chamberingc for $ 300. I'd start at $ 450 and see
how you make out.

My father offered me one for free about 30 years ago and I declined so he sold it.

I was just shooting Vancouver Island deer and bears and already had my 243 and didn't forsee ever hunting elk and moose.

Silly me.

I recently picked up a very early Safari in .270. It was built by PH around surplus M98 action, not a Santa Barbara. It's in VG to EXC condition. I paid 375.00, and I know I got a deal.
There was a stunning early Safari at the Calgary show in April. Early action, in .308 Norma.....it looked unfired to me. Price was 650.00, and it didn't sell. It was as new, I don't think it had ever had a scope on it.

The other Parker Hales at the show were priced from 550 up, and I am very sure few sold. At the end of the day, I walked by the the tables that had them and they were all just sitting there.

300.00 sounds too cheap to me, I would ask 425-450 is it's in nice shape. 400.00 would be a good deal in the end for all.......

I've had several over the last 30+ yrs., but a 30-06 I bought a couple years ago has a totally different stock than any of the others. The pistol grip has a palm swell and the forearm is quite flat on the bottom with a slight curl on the bottom edges. Originally bought to use for a project it shoots too well to change.
