Parker-Hale A29 scope mount

Put a Want To Buy advert in the EE. Trawl gun shows and garage sales, search E-Bay. Call Western Gun Parts occasionally. If someone will lend you one find a machinist to copy it.

Anybody knows where I could find this ? I want to scope my E.A.L and it seems like the right mount according to my readings.

Thanks

I've had a few of these. They come up from time to time, either on the forum or ebay etc.

This mount requires also using PH rings. The mount is 2 piece and you need the right rings.

Is your rifle already drilled and tapped for this mount? 3 evenly spaced holes.

Would recommend not drilling it if it's not already done. Just put a no gunsmithing mount on it if so.

Thanks for the feedback. I thought they were more common and easy to find. Will keep my eyes open.

My rifle is not tapped. I hesitated a lot to drill it, the rifle is still in original shape and fired less than 100rounds, mostly from me. I just like to shoot it a lot and with open sights, I am fairly limited.

Okay. I really suggest you not drill the receiver.

When the factory or military did it, it was an original modification.

But, if you do it, it's a Bubbaed rifle. It will lose value.

Enjoy it as it is...or...

buy a no gunsmithing mount. That will be better anyway as it will have a modern rail vs. the PH rings. Much more flexible re what scope and rings to use.

I think an Addley mount will work as they don't use the charger bridge that EAL's don't have.
