Parker Hale bolt knob

Is the Parker hale 1200 series bolt knob threaded on soldered or a machined with the bolt assembly. I want to remove and put a larger bolt knob on. Any information would be appreciated.

The ones I have (older versions) are a single machined piece. - dan

The 1200 Parker Hale bolts are a one piece forging....machined and polished. The handle is sweep back and the angle is not the same as the C3A1. I have seen these turned and threaded. Just don't look right for a project of your quality. Occassionally a bolt body will surface with the correct features. Maybe somebody got one tucked away and can help you out.

I had ATRS turn mine down and weld on a tactical style knob.. I'll try to find pictures this weekend if you would like.

Casey at tactical Ordnance todl me he coudl make an exact copy of the C3A1 bolt handle for my Parker Hale project.
