Parker Hale/C.I.L.?

I have a friend who has a Parker Hale made C.I.L. 7mm R.M. he is thinking of selling although he has not given me a price yet I was wondering what it might be worth?I have not yet seen the rifle but it is said to be in good shape.It is a controlled round feed with a clip.I am sorry for being a little vague on the details on the rifle but this is all I have at the moment.Would also like to know anything you guys would care to share with me about these rifles.

any idea how old it is ? i can't find a listing for a C.I.L. made by parker hale in anything.

My mom bought me one for my 16th birthday 34 years ago. It's a 972c in .270 and it was about $160 at the time. I still have the catalog someone but can't find it at the moment. My next gun was a Parker Hale 1200C in .243. Very similar guns.

Thanks for the replies.I used to have a 1200c years ago but traded for a
Ruger M77.In fact my dad still uses a P/H 1200c.

The CIL 270 I saw at gunshop was a FN '51. I still kick myself for not buying it.

C.I.L. had rifles made nearly everywhere. Parker Hale made good rifles. Do a net search for Parker Hale.

A buddy of mine has one in 308, it is a commercial mauser action, his had likely the worst trigger I've ever shot on a rifle.
