At the Orangeville gun show on the weekend, I picked up a Bisley Works, AGP, Parker Hale converted large frame Martini Henry, model CMT2.
Same as shown here: http://rifleman.org.uk/Parker-Hale_CMT_rifles.htm

It's been scrubbed during the conversion so I'm not sure what model it may have been. Trigger guard has a crown, E, and 69. Lever has broad arrow, WD, crown, E, and 30. It has a short cocking indicator and short lever.
The rear sight is sitting over the thumb groove at the back of the receiver.
Anything I can look for to date it better?

I gather the most recent Martini Henry was made from 1888-1889 so this becomes my oldest rifle. Beats my 1895 Enfield RF Short. Mk.II.

Bore is excellent. Light rust freckling on the exterior that should clean up. Otherwise in great shape. Even has the front sight inserts still in the little brass case.

I've been looking for a large frame .22 for a while.
I've got a bunch of BSA small frame Martini's, a right and a left hand International Martini, a Vickers Martini, and a Greener Martini. Just need a centerfire now.

Guns always look worse in close ups. That rust stain in the one picture is barely noticable under a strong light.
Have to get the superfine steel wool and Hoppes out and see how it cleans up.
