Hi recently aquired a Parker Hale in .303 could anyone help me in identifying the year of this rifle?
What is my BEST options for a scope mount system?
The spring that holds the extractor was worn/broken when I got I found one at a local gun show does this look like it fits correct? (pic3)
Are there any websites to refer to for teardown info?
The only markings are: top centre of barrell: Parker-Hale ltd Birmingham England
side of barrell BMP .303 2.222 18.5 tons per
the metal band around the stock has stamped E**6 which is also the Reg. serial#

:)You have got yourself a nice (and hard to find) Parker hale conversion called a custom no.4 The action on it was machined specifically to allow for the parker hale side mount scope base called a A29. You will notice 3 holes drilled and tapped in the side of the reciever, the A29 will bolt right on with 3- 6/40x3/8" cap screws.Dont let anyone drill any more holes in it! If you put a post on the EE in the parts and bits sec someone will have one they will sell you. You will then need to get yourself a set PH 'A' series low rings.RALS3's will work perfect. I have the same gun with the mount system I have described , it is a sweet little 303 and in my opinion is the nicest enfield sporter conversion ever done. Enjoy it.

THANKS exact info I needed now I can start my search planning on using as my elk rifle this season should get my tag this year allready know where they are hiding.:)
