parker hale/m70 ?

i am looking to order a new stock for my parkerhale 30-06. but cant find a matching stock. i was looking on boyds and i think the "long action" model 70 replacement stock will work. just looking for input. or if you know of a place that has a replacment stock

That isn't going to work, but you should have better luck barking up the Mauser tree.

The mauser tree is definately the one to bark up.
I have a rifle that is the other way around. It's a Brazilian Mauser wearing a Parker Hale stock.
So if you look for a stock that fits a mauser 98, you should do fine... maybe with a bit of inletting.

A stock for a Mauser 98 will be adaptable to your Parker Hale. Some bedding alterations will be needed, but these are pretty straightforeward.
