Parker-Hale model identification...

Hey Folks... I need some help identifying a Parker-Hale .308... seems to be the "K-98" type of bolt... stock is pooched, but it has the sharply angled fore end, a palm swell... and a detachable mag...

Not much that I can find for markings, but it does NOT say Safari on the receiver...

Any information on even where to look would be great... thank you.

It's most likely a 1200C but hard to tell without any pics.

Sounds like an earlier model 1000C Parker Hale Rifle. Any stock that fits a parker hale rifle with a detachable magazine should fit your rifle.. The newer model 1200 C is the same except for the side safety cutout.

The 1000's that I've seen have the Mauser swing over safety on the bolt while the 1200's have the safety on the right side of the receiver.

I'd like to find a stock for a 1200 too.

A stock made for a 98 Mauser type sporting rifle can be adapted. Inletting will have to be adjusted as necessary.

Thanks for the help, everyone... this has the side safety and so, perhaps, this is a 1200C.....
