Parker Hale mounts/rings?

Hey guys, I want to buy a new scope for my friend's rifle for Christmas. He has a SMLE that was overhauled by Parker Hale. He decided to throw away the old scope that came with the rifle this year. I think he may have discarted the rings also. I know that the PH list no:BA24 mount he has is not weaver compatible as we were unsuccesful at mounting a spare Red dot on it. Where can I find compatible rings and can someone please tell me the name of this mounting system.

Thanks for the offer, but Holy jeeze, I'm lucky. The subject organically came up yesterday with my buddy. He still has the rings!:dancingbanana:

But I am still curious about the mount. It's a one piece base that can be called a reverse dove tail (wide part up) but it does not have the cuts for the rings like the Leupold "dove tail" mounts or the Weavers. It seems like .22 rimfire rings could clamp on there...
 
Sounds like what I have. Bases have Parker Hale stamped on them & M-40. The bases are flat right across the top with a hole a pin in the bottom of the rings sits into.
If anybody needs them, let me know :)
