Parker Hale rate of twist

Instead of asking people who may, or may not, give you the correct answer, why wouldn't you just measure the twist of your rifle?
Arrange the cleaning patch on your cleaning rod so the rod turns with the twist, as you push it through the barrel. Mark the rod, push it in until it makes one complete revelution, measure the distance between your marks and you have your twist.

Clever
 
Patch or brush has to be tight enough that it follows the rifling. Make a little flag by wrapping masking tape around the rod so that you can see the rotation.
 
I just compare other know twist rate barrels, and after a while you can pick a 10 from a 12 , even with small and large bore, takes a bit of time , but heck you look in there lots when cleaning, just look more:D I think the british guns favour light bullets, like 11, 12 twist maybe...on 30 cal barrels,
 
I had a P-H 1000C and a Safari, both chambered in 6mm, and they both had 10" twists. I had no problems stabilizing any hunting bullet right up to the 105 Speer, but the 105/107Match bullets were iffy. Regards, Eagleye.
 
Yes, my 243 Ruger with 10" twist shot 100 grain very well, but wouldn't stabalize the 105s.
