I just bought this Parker-Hale Side x Side shotgun (made by Ugartechea of Spain) from Ellwood Epps.

12 Guage
Boxlock Action
Double Triggers
Concave Rib
Extractors
Case colored reciever
Chokes IC/IM

I collect Parker-Hale rifles, stumbled across this and had to have it.

Do any of you have one of these? Are they a good shotgun?

I don't own one but have been through the Ugartechea operation in Spain and shot several of their guns. Your's is the equivalent of the Ugartechea Model 30, boxlock, non-ejector.

They are decent guns on par with AyA or any similar guns produced by the better Spanish makers. It looks in great shape, is the right configuration for a sxs and should be a good, serviceable gun.

The "Uggies" are good guns for the most part. Some are definite best guns.

Straight stock, double triggers, splinter fore end, IC/M chokes. What more does a man need!

PS how long are your barrels?
