I have this old parker 12 g made in 1910 that I am thinking of selling and am trying to get opinions from you folks on what it might be worth.
It shoots fine all numbers match and I think it has never been refinished This also my first attempt at posting pictures and I fear I may have not done it quite right, but here goes

Wow. I'm no Parker Gun expert but I do know they were never cheap shotguns. Came in many variations and models. Yours is a hammerless with auto extractore I would assume... and as said manufactured around 1910...so I would take it you have done a bit of homework. There must be several U.S. Parker Gun forums on the net. A good approximation of value can then be had. Again all based on model, gauge and condition. Good luck!

The condition looks to be good cosmetically likely a Trojan grade by the look of it These usaually sell in the $800-$1,200.00. Range.

Actually it is a VH grade,Vulcan steel barrel, frame size is 11/2 and I am told that little crest on the stock is an insignia as it was issued to some sort of law enforcement agency in the states, however I can not prove that. The break open lever locks up just left of center telling us it has been used quite a bit. I do know the VH grade is one step up from the Vulcan.
I think there were a fair amount of the VH models made aprox 78,000.
Sorry I should have mentioned all this in the first post but I was so damn excited about figuring out how to put at least some of the pictures (some did not show up,just some text) I forgot to mention some of this.
Cheers

Lyktohunt, the silver stock shield was standard on all VH's. How long are the barrels? The bore condition and whether the barrels were cut shorter have a huge impact on the value. If you pm me the serial number I should be able to tell you the original configuration and any options it might have had when it left the factory.
