Lots will affect value. First, what grade is it, what size frame is it on , does it have ejectors and what gauge is it-- the smaller the gauge, the more expensive. Then comes condition. Is it all original? What are the bores like, any pitting? What is the barrel wall thickness--have they been reamed? Have the chambers been lengthened? Any dents in the barrels-- have they been reblued and, if so, were they done properly? Does it have the original finish on the wood, has the checkering been recut? Is it tight on face and the action tight? Do all numbers match? Value will climb accordingly depending on answers to these questions. As an example, I just sold a Parker VH grade that was in original, average condition but had roughness to the bores. I sold it for $450.00.
