Part needed for an 11-87

My dad lost this part whne cleaning his shotgun and I need to know first what it is called and if it is necessary and second where can I find this part in Canada ??

You can order parts online from Remington. That's the extent of my sources

However, I did forget to install that part after cleaning once ot twice and it functioned fine but got dirtier than usual.

It's called a gas cylinder collar. In Canada you can call Western Gun Parts in Edmonton, or go online to Numrich Gun Parts in the US. That's where I found the schematic of your gun with the parts labelled.

The part on their website is $ 7.90 and they ship to Canada.
