Good evening,
I currently have an AR-15 carbine that has a S&W lower and an unknown 10.5 inch upper receiver that I took on a partial trade a few years back. It hast seen much use by me in the past year and I intended to sell it to fund other things, though given that I'm not 100% sure of the manufacture of the upper receiver/barrel, its been a bit of challenge as most prospective buyers seem to want bits/parts of it. I nowhave my eye on one of the surplus C8 uppers from a few of the sponsors and am considering parting out the EOTech 552 and the upper and am wondering if you guys could help me potentially ID the make of the upper. Since I can't firm up a make on it myself it has been difficult to determine potential price of the upper and the a current value for the EOTech.
Attached a few pictures of the upper. It has no markings that I can find anywhere other then the "1/9 NATO" on the side of the barrel and the "15" on the front sight. The barrel is a "heavy barrel" profile from the looks of it.
Any help is appreciated.
