My hunting buddy and I used the Winchester Supreme PG's in 180gr in our Sako m75SS 300WM when we bought them in 1997 or 98. Great bullet. Awesome performance on big game-elk, moose, deer, bear-lots of devastation. At the range they were going thru 3/4" steel @ 300 metres.
The main reason why I switched in 2004 (and my buddy in 2006 after he used up his PG's) was to try the new Accubonds and that we got tired or the soft nose of the bullet getting squared off from being cycled from the clip to the chamber, not getting anything that time out, and repeating the process over and over again.
We personally preferred the moly coating.
I reload the Accubonds now for my rifle and my buddy uses the factory WS ones.
