Parts compatibility for Marlin 336 30-30 JM stamped vs post 2009

Hi guys,

I just got a 1982 336 in OK shape. The head of some of the screws are aesthetically damaged. The one for the loading gate spring more than others.
I found few sites carrying parts and most of them are mentioning post 2009 compatibility.

Do the newer screw that holds the loading gate will fit my 1982?

Anyone knows if Marlin have an official service shop in Qc?

Thanks further reading on the recommended site confirms this specific screw is the same across many models. But the store is in NY... I'm looking for parts this side of the border.

Thanks!!! I found them too doing the also recommended "homework"

Learning new stuff every day. The rifle was sold to me as a Marlin 336... But the Barrel says Glenfield 30A. Which was a less expensive brand (still Marlin) for retail stores. Further research tells the quality was supposed to be the same as the 336, just less aesthetic features.

WTB in the EE mite git yew sum reezults.

Western Gun Parts, but order plenty as they have a miminum order cost.
Turdy bukks I think last time I ordered.

I'll give Gravell from Quebec, Qc a shot for the loading gate screw.

EDIT: BO in Canada, Ordered the screw from Brownsells... shipping cost was reasonable.
