it is a 1892 winchester , made by rossi ..... so i would assume that any 1892 part can be made to work .
there are a some gunsmiths that specialise in the rossi 1892 in the states ..... not sure how easily a person can get parts across the border .
on the flip side when i had my rossi apart to pollish the insides , i found it was very well made .
i suspect that the only real trouble a person might have is if they decide to " tinker " with the timing or tigger , then screw things up .
i can't see any part of the rifle failing in the next hundred years if it is taken care of .
