parts interchangeability?

Are all the parts on the Norinco M4 clone interchangeble with military/Colt parts including buffer tube/spring? Thanks

No, not all parts will be interchangeable.

I don't think the tube will be interchangeable, but the spring should be fine

Why would the tube not be interchangeable??

Yes, all the parts are interchangeable. Occasionally there are minor fitting issues. It also seems the front hand guard cap tends to cause issues with replacing hand guards. I'm not sure if they are just tight or actually have a different shape, no one seems to be able to give a solid answer on that

If I'm not mistaken, Norinco uses Commercial spec buffer tubes, not Mil spec. I think the springs and buffers are the same, but the buffer tube (extension) is the part that's different, as a result he buttstock is different. Other parts should be the same; hand guards, trigger group, pistol grip, etc.

Dink27- yes, it is commercial, so you would be correct in that you couldn't use a mil spec stock on the commercial tube

The hand guard cap is a little smaller.

Mine has a gas tube that is a little bigger and do not fit spec gas keys.

As for the other components IDK.
